Features:
- Powerful! Boosts volume up to 60 dB across all speech
frequencies. This is the loudest phone currently on the market! The
Boost button can be set to stay on all the time or drop off each
time the phone is hung up. In any case, the sliding volume control
stays wherever you set it.
- Clear Sound! Get the clarity you need to
understand the person on the other end with Digital Clarity
Power (DCP). This phone doesn't
just shift the tone a bit. Rather it has four distinct tone settings that
actually process the speech to fit four different kinds of hearing
losses. Position 1 is for people with reverse-slope hearing losses;
position 2 is for flat losses; position 3 is for high-frequency
losses; and position 4 is for ski-slope losses.
- Loud ringer! You will find it extremely difficult to miss
a call when this phone is ringing. 3-position adjustable ringer
(low, medium & high) gives up to 95 dB ring volume.
(That's loud!)
- Flashing red light catches your eye when this phone
rings. The light bar at the bottom contains 4 lights. The left-most
position indicates the phone is on hold. The next position tells you
that either you have missed a call, or you have voice mail. The
third position is the visual ringer that flashes when there is an
incoming call. The right-most position is the low-battery indicator.
- Won't Squeal in your Ear! Unlike some amplified phones,
the Clarity XL50 won't feedback ever—even at the highest volume due
to its "Smart-plexing" technology. I
love it!
- Large lighted buttons for use in the dark, in poor light, or if you have low
vision.
- Hold button: Press this button and then hang up the
phone--the hold button will flash. You can then pick up the handset
to resume your conversation, or pick up the call on an extension
phone.
- Flash button: Press this button if you have call waiting
and take a second call while automatically placing the first call on
hold.
- Last number redial button: Redial the last number you
called (up to 32 digits) at the press of this button.
- Battery Backup: 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included)
provide up to 48 hours of emergency operation if the power fails.
- Selectable low or high tone ringer: Choose the ringer
frequency that is easiest for your ears to hear.
- 10-button memory plus 1 button emergency number.
- Hear with Both Ears when you use the auxiliary 3.5 mm

- Put this phone in your bedroom, and plug in the bed shaker
(vibrator) and place it under your pillow or mattress and whenever
the phone rings, your bed will shake you awake! Bed shaker cord is
8' long.

lamp flasher module has two parts—a transmitter (right) that plugs into the USB port
on the side of the phone, and a wall plug module (left) that plugs
into any standard wall plug in your home. You plug the lamp of your
choice into the plug on the lamp flasher module and set it up. Then,
whenever your phone rings, your lamp will flash. This works great!
(I put the lamp on the top of my TV and it sure gets my attention
when the phone rings. Before that, I was missing phone calls, even though
my phones have loud 95 dB ringers.
